During the last 77 years, AVAA has developed three social programs within the education field, generating a positive impact in hundreds of Venezuelans.
AVAA Excellency Program
Our main scholarship program, provides undergraduate students that demonstrate financial need, high academic marks, social vocation, and leadership potential with a monthly allowance, English language training, and access to professional mentors and career development seminars.
Currently, AVAA Excellence benefits 250 students, and has benefited more than 900 young Venezuelans since its inception.
United States and Canada Education Information Center
AVAA provides consulting services for Venezuelan students interested in educational opportunities in the United States and Canada.
Our services include: educational interest coaching, institution and program search, financial aid search, documentation and standardized testing (TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, GRE, GMAT), application process, visa requirements and processing, travelling, housing, and insurance.
AVAA conducts free general information sessions on educational opportunities in the US and Canada.
In partnership with Business Marketing International (BMI) AVAA organizes its annual Educational Fair where colleges, universities and language centers from the US and Canada offer their programs to Venezuelan students.
Labor Insertion
AVAA assists young professionals that have recently obtained their undergraduate degrees in their job search, through its annual Job Fair, and its job portal TalentoAVAA.com.
